In 1980, the Ashe Historical Society, along with the Ashe County Public Library, collected interviews from residents with unique knowledge and experiences. These interviews, which were held for decades on cassette tape, have recently been digitized and are now available to the public. Most interviews include an index of topics, so information can be navigated more easily. Support this and other Historical Society endeavors by either joining or donating!

Note for phone viewing: After selecting an interview subject, you will need to scroll to the bottom of the screen to see the index and files.
